2nd Chances of Hope – Terms & Conditions

By registering for any program, service, or event offered by 2nd Chances of Hope Corp, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
 

1. Program Participation & Assumption of Risk

• Participation in sports such as baseball or softball involves inherent risks, including the potential for serious injury.

• By enrolling, you voluntarily assume all risks and agree to release, waive, and hold harmless 2nd Chances of Hope Corp, its coaches, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or damages.

• Proper sports equipment reduces but does not eliminate risk.

2. Medical Consent

• In case of emergency, you authorize 2nd Chances of Hope Corp staff, medical professionals, or emergency responders to provide necessary medical care and/or transport the participant to the nearest medical facility.

• You agree to be responsible for any resulting medical costs.

3. Payments

• Registration fees must be paid in full (or first installment for recurring plans) at the time of registration.

• A one-time $25 enrollment fee applies to all new participants.

• Payments are securely processed through trusted providers such as Stripe or PayPal.

4. Refund Policy

• Refunds are only available if canceled within 3 days of registration.

• After the program begins, no refunds will be issued except for medical reasons preventing participation.

• In case of injury or illness, a valid doctor’s note must be submitted within 5 business days of treatment.

• Any approved refund will be prorated based on sessions attended.

5. Attendance & Make-Up Sessions

• Missed group sessions are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled individually.

• Private sessions canceled without at least 24-hour notice will be forfeited.

6. Media Release

• By registering, you grant permission for 2nd Chances of Hope Corp to photograph, record, or film participants during activities.

• These images or recordings may be used for promotional materials, the organization’s website, or social media platforms without compensation.

• You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.

7. Code of Conduct

• Participants and parents/guardians are expected to act respectfully toward coaches, staff, and other players.

• Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the program without a refund.

8. Program Changes & Cancellations

• 2nd Chances of Hope Corp reserves the right to modify program schedules, locations, or instructors as needed.

• In the rare event a program is canceled by the organization, participants will receive a full refund or credit toward a future program.

9. Agreement

By completing registration, you confirm that you:
 

• Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

• Acknowledge and accept the risks of participation

• Agree to abide by all program policies
